Raya restaurant is located in a renovated Sino-Portuguese mansion, on the eastern side of Phuket Old Town and serves original and delicious Phuket-style Thai cuisine.

OVERVIEW
The renovated mansion originally built in the early 20th century takes its patrons back to the past. The more than 100-year-old building with Sino-Portuguese architectural style incorporates the ground floor, classic, distinguished stained glass, and colorful tiles to be harmony with the yellowish wall. The history and decoration of the place give it a unique ambiance and atmosphere, perfect to taste and enjoy the original Phuket and Peranakan-style cuisine.

The food served at Raya is authentic and genuine local cuisine, all prepared with local, fresh ingredients. Very popular among Raya’s patrons are the Crab Meat with Curry and Coconut Milk, the Dry Crispy Shrimp in Chili Sauce, Fried Shrimp with Tamarind Sauce, Deep Fried Fish with Lemon Grass and Tamarind Sauce, Steamed Pork with Pepper and Garlic, Stir Fried Vegetable (Pak-meang) with Crispy Dry Shrimp or Egg or Glass Noodle, Fish Sour Soup with Coconut Shoot or Local Vegetable, Tai-pla-haeng and Nam-prik-chingchang. For spicy flavors, order the Southern yellow curry with fish and coconut shoots.
